Bas Wissink Co-Writes & Produces Croatia’s Eurovision Entry

We're thrilled to share a significant achievement from our publishing team: "Poison Cake", performed by Marko Bošnjak, has won DORA 2025, Croatia's national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. This compelling track was co-written and produced by our own Bas Wissink, marking a notable milestone in his burgeoning international career.​

A Dark Pop Triumph with Dutch Roots

"Poison Cake" captivated audiences with its haunting melody and evocative lyrics, blending dark pop elements with fairy tale-inspired themes. The song's production, led by Bas Wissink, showcases his ability to craft emotionally resonant music that transcends borders.​

The collaboration involved a talented team, including songwriters Emma Gale and Ben Pyne, alongside Marko Bošnjak and Bas Wissink. Their combined efforts resulted in a track that not only won over the Croatian audience but also garnered international attention.​

DORA 2025: A Competitive Victory

The DORA 2025 competition was fierce, featuring 16 finalists narrowed down from an initial 24 through two semi-finals. "Poison Cake" emerged as the winner, securing a total of 130 points. This included 83 points from the jury and 47 points from the public vote, reflecting widespread acclaim for the song's artistry and performance.
