Mane: “Get What You Want was a demo I had laying around since 2020. I always liked the melodies and the vibe of the song but I never finished it. After a good 2 years of it dusting away on my laptop I met Siahna during a session we did for an artist. After that session we worked together for a bit and I sent over the demo asking if she wanted to write a topline for it. While listening to the first vocals I immediately fell in love with the song again, it worked together perfectly. This was 2 years later, in 2022. So another one and a half years passed and now it felt like it was a good time to get my artist project back on the road again with the perfect song.”

Siahna Im: “Get What You Want is a song of self encouragement. Sometimes we work so hard for something but no matter what you do, it always seems so far away. The whole point of the song is that if you have something to fight for in your life, there was a force that was pushing your to do so in the beginning. It’s important to not forget about that force and to essentially believe in yourself even when everything is telling you to give up.”
