In an unforgettable songwriting session, OUT OF CONTROL was born—a quirky, energetic anthem that captures the wild, impulsive moments we all secretly want to give in to. Songwriters Thomas Thurner, Luca de la Haye, and Eva Lima channeled their own (and some very funny) intrusive thoughts—like smashing a cake in someone's face or blurting out something wildly inappropriate—into a playful yet raw track that pushes the boundaries of creativity. One of the most exciting elements of the session was crafting a bass-like riff on the guitar, setting the foundation for the chaotic fun that followed. Eva Lima’s vocals really brought the concept to life, especially when she sings I'm not walking in straight lines, and the melody jumps unpredictably, or when the music stops suddenly after the word "intrusive" in the line I wanna give in to all my intrusive thoughts—as if the music itself is acting on a sudden whim. The energy in the room was electric as the trio cranked up the volume, letting loose and having a blast. In between bursts of creativity, they sipped on ginger tea to fuel their inspiration, adding even more warmth to the process. The song developed into a wild, playful track that’s just as rough around the edges as it is full of personality.

Later on, Bas Wissink joined the team to co-produce, mix, and master the track, perfectly balancing its spirited chaos. OUT OF CONTROL is an irresistibly fun song that invites listeners to embrace their wild side—and we hope you enjoy losing control with us!
